Rising at the common borders of Turkey and Iran, Mt Ararat is the inactive volcano where, according to the Old Testament, Noah’s ark came to rest. Reaching 5137 m, it is capped year round with ice and snow.
On this mountain trek, you will obviously notice how the area surrounding has retained its natural beauty and the local population still engages in the traditional lifestyle.

Day 1: Erzurum
Days 2 to 8: Mont Ararat trekking:

> Eli
> İbrahimkara yayla (3200m)
> Camp II (4200m)
> Mt Ararat (5137m)
> Doğubeyazıt.
Days 9 : Van.
Day 10: Return
Accommodation: Hotel & camps.
Season: 1st July – 15 September.
